A Hauntingly Cute Halloween Tablescape

This month, I’m joining ByAnnie’s Sew Pink Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Together, we’re raising awareness through creative crafting with a blog hop all through October. ByAnnie has collected educational resources to help spread awareness by sharing reminders to educate ourselves, take preventative action and advocate for better care.

My contribution to this campaign are these nesting baskets! I couldn’t resist making them spooky for the Halloween season, so I added a Pump Queen quilt block to the lid of the basket. These baskets are perfect for all your Halloween party needs! I made a couple alterations to the pattern - learn all about my wicked ways here. But first, let me show you all the ways you can use these boo-utiful baskets to make the creepiest, cutest home Halloween decor.

The Halloween Party Must-Have

Jack-o-lantern quilted baskets

Who has the spookiest tablescape in town? You will after adding these spooky baskets!

Show off your linens and silverware

The medium basket is perfect for showing off table linens and holding silverware. Keep your table organized AND ominous by collecting all your fresh napkins and silverware in this basket.

Decorate with flowers

The large basket makes the best emergency plant pot! Potted flowers are my favorite, last-minute decoration. And now you don’t have to worry about repotting them before guests arrive. Just toss the whole thing into the basket to hide the plastic pot. I’ve decorated mine with some creepy chains to add some macabre mystery to my table.

A cute catch all

Don’t we always need a catch all when hosting friends? Put the basket lids around the house and fill them with cocktail napkins, mints, or have your guests toss their phones in to keep them distraction free throughout the evening.

For your sweet treats

And possibly my favorite use of them all, use the baskets to hand out Halloween candy! Want to be the standout house with this Halloween sweet treat? These baskets take no time to carve up - read all about how I made them here. You can grab the Nesting Baskets pattern from ByAnnie, and the Pump Queen quilt block pattern here!
